The Visiting Scholars program provided time and space to researchers from multiple contemplative fields for intensive individual and collaborative work related to our mission. These projects extended and broadened the intellectual fruits of Mind & Life’s mission in three areas: ethics and education; mapping the mind; and craving, desire, and addiction. Visiting Scholars were generally in residence for periods ranging from a few weeks to an academic semester. Regular programming included weekly lunch discussions and seminars for each scholar to present their work to the Mind & Life community.
